Abstract
Spindle cell/pleomorphic lipomas are benign lipomatous neoplasms that show loss of RB1 and classically harbor components of mature adipose tissue, bland spindled cells and ropy collagen. This review highlights the clinicopathologic features and morphologic spectrum of spindle cell/pleomorphic lipoma, discusses an updated differential diagnosis, and provides a practical diagnostic strategy for spindle cell/pleomorphic lipomas with atypical clinical presentations.Entities:
