Abstract
Lymphocytes were infected with the QIMR-WIL strain of Epstein-Barr virus, and the induction of Epstein-Barr virus-associated nuclear antigens was determined by using the protein immunoblot. There was a temporal increase in six antigens, with Epstein-Barr nuclear antigen 2 being detected 1 day after infection. The appearance of these antigens was shown to be independent of cellular DNA synthesis.Entities:
