Abstract
Acute cholangitis remains a potentially lethal disease if not appropriately diagnosed in a timely fashion. Modern diagnostic and therapeutic modalities have greatly decreased mortality from acute cholangitis. This article aims to provide an up-to-date synopsis of empirically tested diagnostic criteria as well as an overview of the expanding interventions available.Entities:
