Abstract
OBJECTIVE: Brain atrophy has been correlated with objective cognitive dysfunction in multiple sclerosis but few studies have explored self-reported subjective cognitive concerns and their relationship to brain volume changes. This study explores the relationship between subjective cognitive concerns in multiple sclerosis and reduced brain volume in regions of interest implicated in cognitive dysfunction.Entities:

Figure 1.Standardized residuals of thalamic volume, controlling for covariates, regressed on general cognitive concerns score.
Figure 2.Standardized residuals of cortical gray volume, controlling for covariates, regressed on general cognitive concerns score.
Results of linear regression model relating patient-reported outcomes to standardized brain regions of interest with age, disease duration, gender, depression, and fatigue as covariates.
