Abstract
A 6-year-old girl developed pericardial tamponade because of pericarditis caused by Haemophilus influenzae type b. Bacteriological cultures of the pericardial exudate were negative. The etiological diagnosis was established by counterimmunoelectrophoresis (CIE).Entities:
