Abstract
In this issue of Neuron, Neuner et al. (2019) report the generation of Alzheimer's disease (AD) transgenic mouse models on a panel of 28 background strains, showing marked background-dependent phenotypic variability. These findings imply that analogous variation in human AD phenotypes may be due, at least in part, to subtle effects of genetic background.Entities:
