We thank Dr. Gilks and Dr. Singh for their comments on our manuscript (Turashvili et al., 2019). Their thoughtful letter is an articulate and rational summary of the issues pertaining to carcinomas concurrently involving the endometrium and ovary, and provides a useful roadmap for future clinico-pathological studies. We support their suggested approach, including the need for multi-centre collaborative studies, in order to better define optimal staging and management of women with these tumours.
