Abstract
A case of soft tissue swelling of the thigh in which myositis ossificans developed is presented. A series of ultrasound examinations showed previously unreported changes which suggested the diagnosis. The use of ultrasound and other imaging modalities in this condition are discussed and the ultrasound appearances are related to the histology.Entities:
