Abstract
The auditory evoked potentials are the best available technique for identifying infants with a hearing impairment before the age of 6 months. They are also very important in the evaluation of patients with suspected retrocochlear hearing loss. New developments may soon allow the determination of hearing thresholds at different frequencies and a more accurate assessment of patients with central auditory dysfunction.Entities:
