Abstract
An overview is presented on the absorption of drugs and other xenobiotics in mammals and fish. Species differences in gastrointestinal tract physiology as well as other factors that influence bioavailability of these compounds are considered. Results of recent studies on the bioavailability of drugs in aquatic animal species are discussed.Entities:
