Abstract
Chiari malformation type I (CM-I), or hindbrain herniation syndrome, has traditionally been defined as a dislocation of the cerebellar tonsils 5 mm or more below the foramen magnum on sagittal magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) [1, 2].
