Values are number (percentage) unless otherwise indicated. Sample size variations are due to incidental missing values in returned surveys; thus, not all values sum to total respondents.
Weighted and stratified χ2 tests were used to compare sexes and to generate P values.
Calculated as weight in kilograms divided by height in meters squared.
Waist circumference ≥120 cm for men and ≥88 cm for women.

Abdominal obesity was defined as a waist circumference ≥120 cm for men and ≥88 cm for women. Obesity was defined as a body mass index (calculated as weight in kilograms divided by height in meters squared) of ≥30.
Values are odds ratio (95% confidence interval). Odds ratios were calculated by using logistic regression.
Includes all demographic variables (age, race/ethnicity, education, employment, and marital status), 2 food intake variables (consumption of meals prepared away from home and consumption of frozen meals or pizza at home), and variables for general sedentary activity, television and video viewing, and computer use.
Activity that causes large increases in heart rate or breathing.
Activity that causes small increases in heart rate or breathing.
Significant at P < .05.
