Abstract
We describe two cases of thrombosis after mitral valvuloplasty (MV). Antithrombotic therapy after MV in patients with no thromboembolic risk factors is essentially based on treatment with a platelet aggregation inhibitor. This strategy may not be sufficient in some cases and the introduction of oral anticoagulant therapy may be necessary.Entities:
