Abstract
Respiratory depression and oversedation occurred during the administration of patient-controlled analgesia because of a broken syringe barrel. Possible complications in the use of patient-controlled analgesia are reviewed. These may be because of prescription or provision errors, patient factors or equipment problems.Entities:
