Models adjusted for the following variables: tobacco consumption, consumption of fruits, consumption of vegetables, alcohol consumption, leisure time physical activity, chronic diseases, surgeries or injuries, ongoing consumption of medications, hyperuricemia, hyperlipidemia, hyperglycemia, chronic kidney disease, anemia, and high blood pressure, not diagnosed or treated, age, sex, marital status, occupation, education, monthly household income, body mass index, self-perception of overall health status.
