Abstract
This report describes a domestic shorthair cat with fracture-associated osteosarcoma 11 years after injury. A left hind limb amputation was performed using coxofemoral disarticulation. No intravenous cytotoxic chemotherapy was used after surgery. Pulmonary metastasis was identified 3 months after amputation. Fracture-associated osteosarcoma may occur in the cat more than 10 years after initial injury.Entities:
