Abstract
A 15-month-old Angus heifer was presented for anorexia and abdominal discomfort. Transabdominal ultrasound was suggestive of a ceco-cecal intussusception. Exploratory laparotomy confirmed the diagnosis and a cecectomy was performed. The heifer recovered well and continued to gain weight after discharge. This is the first report of a heifer with ceco-cecal intussusception in North America.Entities:
