Abstract
Traumatic injury to the immature carpus is infrequent because of the sequence of carpal ossification, the resiliency of surrounding ligaments, and the vulnerability of the radius to fracture. Diagnosis requires careful palpation and suspicion, particularly in younger children. Treatment should consider the healing, growth, and modeling potential of the carpus.Entities:
