Abstract
Epidermolysis bullosa is a group of autosomally inherited diseases involving skin breakdown of varying degrees and severity. Prenatal diagnosis and evaluation of these diseases is reviewed although pregnancy is not generally adversely affected by these diseases. Labor and delivery practices must be altered for the management of these patients. The obstetrical team must pay careful attention to adhesive dressings and anesthetic devices. Minor trauma may lead to severe lesions.Entities:
