Abstract
Persistent hyperparathyroidism is an uncommon but recognized sequela of hyperparathyroidectomy that presents difficult diagnostic and surgical challenges. The approach to such patients, particularly in the area of localizing procedures and the conduct of surgery, is reviewed. The successful management of patients with persistent hyperparathyroidism is directly proportional to the surgeon's depth of experience with this entity.Entities:
