Abstract
Trousseau's syndrome refers to cancer-associated coagulopathy. The signs and symptoms of the syndrome are protean, and the underlying cancer is often occult. Treatment regimens vary. Heparin seems to be the initial drug of choice, perhaps continued indefinitely (intravenously or subcutaneously) on an outpatient basis. Warfarin does not seem to be beneficial.Entities:
