Abstract
Pulmonary diseases contribute significantly to the morbidity and mortality in children infected with the human immunodeficiency virus. The wide array of lung diseases spans from early acute bacterial infections, to the lymphoid interstitial pneumonitis/pulmonary lymphoid hyperplasia complex, to opportunistic infections. The unique clinical and histopathologic features of these diseases are reviewed.Entities:
