Epidemiologic studies of the petroleum industry.

Abstract

This paper reviews the epidemiologic studies of petroleum workers published in the English language, focusing on research pertaining to the petroleum industry, rather than the broader petrochemical industry. Types of epidemiologic studies are described, then overall cause-specific mortality and morbidity among workers.
