Simultaneous dorsal dislocation of the interphalangeal joints in a finger. Case report and review of the literature.

A case report and review of the English literature on the simultaneous dorsal dislocation of the interphalangeal joints of the finger are presented. This injury usually occurs on the ulnar side of the hand of young male athletes. It is easily reduced by a closed technique, although slight limitation of motion and joint swelling may persist.
