Abstract
Polymorphisms in HLA-DP can modulate interactions with the invariant chain chaperone, contributing independently to differences in the peptide repertoire presented on DP. The resulting presentation of intracellular antigens directly to CD4+ T cells may partly explain genetic and clinical studies describing previously unexplained links between polymorphism in DP and disease.Entities:
