Abstract
In upper gastrointestinal hemorrhage in nearly 100% of the cases it can be determined endoscopically whether it is bleeding from esophagus, stomach or duodenum. In more than 90% the bleeding source can be localized and diagnosed exactly. In the colon localization and diagnosis of bleeding lesions by endoscopy is possible in more than 90%. In some of these hemorrhages simultaneous endoscopic therapy is possible.Entities:
