Abstract
Objectives: To explore the effects of membership in a fitness program for older adults on social isolation, loneliness, and health. Method: Using survey responses from SilverSneakers members and matched nonmembers, regression path analysis was used to examine the influence of SilverSneakers membership on physical activity, social isolation, loneliness, and health, and the interrelationships among these concepts.Entities:

Note. Table entries are percentages based on Total N counts. Total N varies by variable based on patterns of missing data and cases that were unable to be matched. CEM = coarsened exact matching.
Percentages in matched groups are weighted values, calculated based on weights generated through CEM on gender, age category, education, and income.
Percentages are statistically significant (p < .05) between members and nonmembers.
