[Regulation of Wnt/β-catenin signaling in bone development and bone tumor].

Abstract

The Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway is crucial in bone development and homeostasis.Normally, it has been suggested to play a significant role in regulation of osteogenic differentiation of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells, osteoclastogenesis and?ibone mineral density. Dysregulated Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway is responsible for bone tumor, metabolic bone disease, degenerative bone disease and it related to development and invasion of osteosarcoma and Ewing's sarcoma.Studies of the molecular mechanisms of Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway provide theoretical basis of a potential target for bone diseases.
