Abstract
We examined biopsy material from a case of stromal crystalline dystrophy of the cornea by light and electron microscopy. Frozen sections were positive for neutral fat and negative for cholesterol. Electron microscopy showed that the empty spaces at the site of the crystals did not have typical crystalline profiles. We concluded that in our case the crystals were composed of neutral fat.Entities:
