Abstract
An 11-year-old patient with inflammatory fibrous histiocytoma of the iliac bone is presented. In addition to routine histopathological procedures the lesion was studied by enzyme-histochemical and immuno-histochemical methods. The results of acid phosphatase, alpha-naphthyl-acetate esterase and intracytoplasmic muramidase demonstration in tumour cells supported the histiocytic nature of the presented case.Entities:
