Abstract
Dietary fish oils rich in eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) possess immunostimulant, anti-inflammatory, cancer-retardant, antithrombotic and ischemia-protective properties that are remarkably parallel to the effects of high-dose nutritional antioxidants. EPA and nutritional antioxidants may show complementary activities in a wide range of preventive and therapeutic applications.Entities:
