Technetium-99m RBC scintigraphy in the evaluation of small bowel leiomyoma.

K L McDonald.

Abstract

Hypervascularity and persistent uptake were demonstrated in a small bowel leiomyoma not actively bleeding at the time of Tc-99m RBC scintigraphy. The potential value of Tc-99m RBC scanning in the evaluation of benign small bowel tumors is discussed.
