Unusual lymphoproliferation associated with chronic active Epstein-Barr virus infection.

Abstract

A chronic active Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) infection with no significant underlying diseases was evidenced in 7 Japanese children and adolescents. In these patients, massive EBV-positive polyclonal lymphoproliferation occurred with extremely high EBV antibody titers.
