Abstract
A 10-year-old female child, a known case of Beta-Thalassemia major with superimposed chronic Hepatitis C Viral (HCV) infection, underwent bone marrow transplantation and presented, 7 months later, with worsening hepatic functions and skin rash. Considering the wide variety of possible etiologies, she was evaluated and later confirmed as a case of hepatic dysfunction secondary to HCV related hepatic injury with concomitant chronic graft versus host disease (dermatological involvement only).Entities:
