Abstract
Clinicians should be aware of the limited evidence on nonantibiotic prophylactic treatment for recurrent urinary tract infections. Owing to the rising antibiotic resistance rates worldwide, nonantibiotic prevention strategies should be considered for patient care. Further research is necessary to evaluate nonantibiotic treatment strategies using a robust randomised controlled trial methodology to contribute to a strong evidence basis.Entities:
