Comparison of Aujeszky's disease (pseudorabies) virus strains by SDS-PAGE of the virus proteins.

Abstract

Comparison of Aujeszky's disease virus strains by SDS-PAGE indicated that one protein (mol. wt. 31,000-34,000) exhibited marked variation. The NIA 4 and Bartha vaccine strains were identical and could be distinguished from other isolates.
