Abstract
Carboplatin is a platinum-based chemotherapeutic agent used for the treatment of many solid tumors. Peripheral neuropathy is a common side effect; but, to our knowledge, ocular motor cranial neuropathies have not been reported in the literature. We describe a case of persistent third and fourth nerve palsies after systemic administration of intra-arterial carboplatin for glioblastoma multiforme. Neither nerve regained function after carboplatin was stopped.Entities:
