Alternative Credentials for Workforce Development.

Jan Jones-Schenk.

Abstract

In a highly transformative environment like health care, continued professional development and learning is essential. For individuals without degrees, stackable credentials offer another pathway to a degree, and for those with multiple and/or advanced degrees, microcredentials hold promise for retooling and updating knowledge, skills, and abilities.
