Continuous variables are presented as mean±SD. Categorical variables are presented as frequencies (%). Chi-square and Fisher exact tests were applied to estimate differences in proportions. A p value ≤0.05 was considered for statistical significance.
*Denotes alpha value comparing prevalence of shockable versus non-shockable initial cardiac rhythm as collapsed variable (ie, ventricular fibrillation and pulseless ventricular tachycardia collapsed into ‘Shockable’ and aystole and pulseless electrical activity collapsed into ‘Non-Shockable’).
