Abstract
The prevalence of Barrett's esophagus is increasing in the United States and is a major risk factor for esophageal adenocarcinoma. This review serves to help primary care physicians and family practitioners better understand who should be screened for Barrett's esophagus, know the appropriate surveillance intervals for repeat endoscopy, and understand therapeutic options for the management of Barrett's esophagus.Entities:
