Abstract
A man with a short history of retrosternal discomfort and weight loss was found to have a large malignant fibrous histiocytoma of the ascending aorta. The tumor was resected on partial cardiopulmonary bypass. We believe this is the only malignant fibrous histiocytoma of the ascending aorta reported and successfully treated in the literature.Entities:
