In the article titled “Acute Ischemic Stroke Thrombolysis with Tenecteplase: An Institutional Experience from South India”, published on pages 90-93, Issue 2, Volume 17 in Annals of African Medicine[1], the brand name of Tenecteplase molecule “Metalyse®”, was mistakenly mentioned, on page 91, 25th line, under Introduction paragraph.The correct statement should be read as “Thus, in consequence to its recent approval for stroke thrombolysis and owing to its free availability under hospital's medicines indenting scheme, we planned to start stroke thrombolysis with tenecteplase at our tertiary hospital”
