[Postcommotional syndrome in electronystagmogram of penduling test (author's transl)].

M Moser.

Abstract

31% of the 270 patients who consulted the ORL-specialist because of vertigo after commotio cerebri had a central nystagmus pattern (écriture centrale) during the penduling test. This is the expression of the vestibular center to an irritation of the brain stem after commotio. In many of these cases the EEG was normal.
