Robotic Partial Nephrectomy for Posterior Renal Tumours: Retro or Transperitoneal Approach?

Abstract

The advantages of using the retroperitoneal approach in posterior and lateral masses are the familiarity and increased experience of the robotic surgeon with the nuances of this approach, which will ultimately benefit patients for whom that technique is imperative.
