Abstract
A remarkable rearrangement of a diferrocenylporphyrin to give a silver(iii) corrole has been discovered. Compared to the previously reported porphyrin to corrole ring conversions (extremely rare and poor reaction yields), our methodology delivers near quantitative yield for this ring contraction.Entities:
