Abstract
The toxic effects of roasted and unroasted beans of the wild coffee, C occidentalis were compared. Both types of beans intoxicated goats in varying degrees, but roasting partially reduced the toxic effects of the beans. Histopathological, biochemical and enzyme histochemical studies showed that the toxin of C occidentalis damages the liver, vascular system, heart, and lungs.Entities:
