Abstract
BACKGROUND: Due to the success of antiretroviral therapy, human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infection has been transformed into a lifelong condition. In Italy, little is known about the impact of comorbidities (CMs) on the risk of hospitalization and related costs for people who live with HIV (PWLHIV).
