Abstract
The chairs of the National Council on Radiation Protection and Measurement (NCRP) 2017 Annual Meeting, Assessment of National Efforts in Emergency Preparedness for Nuclear Terrorism: Is There a Need for Realignment to Close Remaining Gaps?, tasked the members of each session to identify and prioritize preparedness activities that will have the most positive effect during a response. The Communication, Education and Public Information Panel identified five priority action areas that we believe NCRP and its members can actively work toward for increased effectiveness in public communication after a radiological or nuclear emergency.Health Phys. 000(0):000-000; 0000.Mesh:
