Abstract
We retrospectively evaluated the frequency of community-acquired methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (CA-MRSA) infections in children at a general hospital in São Paulo, Brazil, from 2011 to 2015. Of 64 patients with confirmed S. aureus infection, 11 (17.2%) had CA-MRSA. CA-MRSA infections in Brazil, and in particular those with a severe presentation, should not be overlooked.Entities:
