[Leiomyosarcomas of the inferior vena cava. Report of a case and review of the literature (author's transl)].

A 55-year-old female with leiomyosarcoma of the middle segment of the inferior vena cava was successfully operated, 2 years ago. The literature is reviewed and pathology, symptoms, diagnosis and differential diagnosis, therapy and prognosis are thoroughly discussed.
